Meet the Team: Chloe
Chloe X. Gonzalez-Coyle is aspiring to become a bilingual nurse practitioner one day and will be attending UCSF’s MEPN program in a couple years. Chloe previously worked as an LGBTQQ Youth Advocate and youth program coordinator for transgender and undocumented youth of color.
Chloe X. is proudly a bilingual (Spanish/English) athlete and artivist who was born and raised in San Francisco. Chloe loves to garden at home in the Mission where avocado, lavender, sage, mint, amaranth, tomato, oregano, chive, tomillo, pericon y xempasuchitl can be found.
Chloe‘s passions include social determinants of health, community health and research justice as seen in their thesis, “Decolonization and Wellness,” emphasizing culture, community, ceremony, and creative expression as vital for healthy living. Chloe‘s meandering path includes being deeply rooted in SF, directly serving SF communities, mural painting, using Non-Violent Communication (NVC), cross-cultural understanding, and various healing practices.
Chloe is familiar with Arabic and Maaya T’aan (Maya Yucateco) and has worked as a bilingual health educator and STI counselor and is certified as a HIV test counselor.
